To Register a Property

1) Click on Add Property
2) Once in the search section, you can search by either Address, Owner Name or ID. Only use one search option (Not all 3).
3) When you see your property listed, click on the "Property Details" link on the right next to the correct property.
4) Once you are looking at the details click on the "Register Property" or "Add to List" button.
5) You have then successfully registered a property.
 
To Pay or View the Tax Bill Once the Property is registered
1) Go into My Properties
2) Click on "View Detail" link on the right for the bill you want to pay or view.
3) Once in the Detail section you will see the options for Viewing and paying bills.
To Register a Motor Vehicle

2) To view Motor Vehicle Tax search options Click on "Search Motor Vehicle Bill" link in the upper right-hand corner
3) Once in the search section, you can search by either VIN#, Owner Name or License Plate. Only use one search option (Not all 3).
4) When you see the correct motor vehicle listed, click on the "Property Details" link on the right next to the correct motor vehicle property.
5) Once you are looking at the details click on the "Register Property" or "Add to List" button.
 
To Pay or View the Tax Bill Once the Property is registered
1) Go into My Properties
2) Click on "View Detail" link on the right for the bill you want to pay or view.
3) Once in the Detail section you will see the options for Viewing and paying bills.
Incorrect Property Owner

The wrong owner is listed incorrect on the website (It is correct on the Tax Bill itself)
It takes longer for the website to update, as we get the feeds from the County. Depending on when the paper work has gone through at the County and when we receive the update, this could take 18 months in some cases.
If the tax bill reflects the proper information there is no need for the homeowner to take any further action. The website will reflect the proper owner in the future.
The old owner information will not affect anything except the initial search. Any tax payments completed online or through regular mail will be properly reflected on that property.
Please call the Municipality if it is not properly reflected on the Tax Bill.
Delete a property

This site does not support the deletions of properties. If you own more properties, please send us an e-mail by specifying how many properties you are responsible for and we will give you access to those properties.
Payment Status Update

A “pending” status indicates a payment made on-line that has not been posted to the payment system. Most often this is caused by high payment volumes particularly towards the end of the payment period. Please allow 3-5 days for the payment to be posted.
If a payment was made through the mail please allow 7-10 days for posting.
When you view the on-line status, be sure to click “View Details”. Depending on the property, “View Details” may be showing multiple bills as well as a history of payment status. Please make sure you are looking at the correct bill and the correct year, for the tax status you are questioning.
Wrong Owner Name

If the name and address is correct on your tax bill you have no action item. The website search engine is run by the vendor. It runs off a database that is updated through the County. Those updates happen periodically which does produce a delay. This only affects the search engine of the website and will not cause any problems with viewing or payment of property bills. We apologize for the inconvenience.
If it is wrong on the tax bill, you should contact the tax office to make change.

To Pay or View the Tax Bill Once the Property is registered
1) Go into My Properties
2) Click on "View Detail" link on the right for the bill you want to pay or view.
3) Once in the Detail section you will see the options for Viewing and paying bills.
4) Chose Pay Bills and you will be prompted to the total amount of the convenience charge
If the pay option is not seen, that means the payment is not available at this time.

The convenience fee is calculated when a payment method is selected. During the payment process the convenience fee is displayed and you are given the opportunity to accept of decline the payment.
Please note that the Town receives no portion of the convenience fee: this fee is Real Property Tax Law which mandates that service fees be separately stated and passed onto the taxpayers who choose to utilize this payment option.
